After reading the brief of project 3 , I realised that this is a group cooperation work project, we need to combine all the works completed in project two for exhibition.
2.Team work distribution
After the group meeting and discussion, each person chose the key roles according to their area of expertise.The detailed division of labor is as follows:
1. BRAND DESIGNER / STRATEGIST:Duanqian Shen/Yue Wu
To oversee the design of the identity of your Volume/container.Responsible for the production of brand logos and part of the dynamic posters.
2. CREATIVE DIRECTOR:Qiuyan Jiang
To overview the creative process as a whole and part of the production of dynamic posters and and the visual design of the gallery. Presentation.
3. WEB/ CODING DESIGNER:Shuyu Ma
Responsible for web design and other coding related works
4. SOCIAL MEDIA / MARKETING:Xiaoyu Xu(me)

After discussion we decided on our brand name, a shortened version of the professional term + the initials of the member’s name-@macd_mjwxs. The name indicates that the project was completed by five of our members working together. Everyone was an essential part..

In the first meeting we had a short discussion where each member presented their work from project 2 and simply shared our understanding of the poem through WeChat and TEAMS. We have three physical books and one e-video book. The color tone is basically black and white
Natalie shared and discussed with the rest of the group an autobiography about John’s life called I Want to Be Yours, which mentions this poem. Through some key lines and passages we gradually unified the understanding of the poem and identified the final theme that the whole poem wanted to express with our project. Then the members decided to conduct further research on the concept of “remix”.

Second meeting
After a second discussion, we settled on a division of labor. After the discussion, since our works were all based on black and white colors and there were three physical books as well as an electronic video book, it might be best if our final project was presented in a dynamic format. Because dynamic posters can better combine video projects, with other physical books, and can bring the best of everyone’s projects together.
So we finally decided to make dynamic posters.
During the discussion, our brand designer and creative director distilled some special parts of each of our work and conceived them into six posters.This is our initial idea. Based on the poem sleepwalk, the theme of the six posters was to show the fear, confusion, pain, struggle, exploration and hope in the human nightmare.

Xu’s work
I shared my plans for marketing.When i first got the brief for this project and understood the ultimate purpose of the project, we had two different forms of presentation plans in mind.The first is an offline exhibition. Make use of our existing exhibition space in Winchester to create a physical exhibition of our physical books and videos.The second is an online exhibition. Maybe we can create a website dedicated to our group and collect all of our work. The site can be viewed from any electronic device.

4.Final outcome
1:Logo design (Duanqian Shen)
Inspired by Freud’s “Parse of Dreams”, a font was created.Most of the material of the dream comes from the insignificant events in reality, but the dream has a different development and ending from the reality. The dream is the realization of the desire.Reality and dream bring a sense of conflict, but at the same time, so this font design is full of the sense of contrast brought by a single line and the constantly changing arc color block, and the two integrate and transition with each other.Symsymbol awake interintertwined with sleep walk.
2: Poster design (Vera and Natalie)
The first poster is Fear. The little girl’s weakness and fear in her eyes are contrasted with the arrogance and ambition in the men’s eyes. The soldiers holding up guns are passionate and eager for conflict, which shows that the vulnerable groups are forced to experience the fear brought by war.
The second poster is titled Confusion. Real life has brought people a dark nightmare, and redemption seems to be a distant thing which forces them to walk in confusion like a walking dead.
The third poster is Pain. The sleepwalker gazes into the mirror. Outside the mirror, they are all human beings with a pulse. Inside the mirror, they are indeed the reflection of zombies, their minds and lives held uncontrollably in the hands of others.
The fourth poster is titled Struggle. The prolonged dizziness makes it impossible not to start struggling, and the sleepwalkers refuse to endure it and start looking forward to a reorganised world. The blood-soiled grass, the shelled buildings, all traces of the nightmare of war, begin to disintegrate.
The title of this poster is Exploration. Hope brings endless excitement. The consciousness of the sleepwalkers began to wake up. They began to look forward to exploring a wider world and a more peaceful world. They raised their hands and cheered, waiting for peace to come.
The last poster is titled Hope.The awakening after the struggle brings a little energy to the oppressive world. Sleepwalkers hunch their heads down as they begin to look away and upwards, building hope with anticipation.

After doing preliminary research on online and offline exhibitions, our final plan is to do an online exhibition. It is more widespread and easier to spread under the epidemic. The site will work with most electronic devices.
After this I did a comparative research on the two media promotion platforms:
After comparing the two platforms through secondary research, we thought that with similar user profiles, INS with its ability to post videos with hashtags, long videos, photos and brand stories would be more in line with our final format of promoting with dynamic posters.
