Avatar Robot Café helps people with disabilities to participate in social activities, so that this group of people can really feel the value and meaning of their existence, and I think this concept is also essential in the design. How to create something that is beneficial to society and valuable to human beings designers designers should think about. If I have the opportunity, I would also like to design projects with public welfare significance.
Tracy, a designer working at the New York Times, has given us the spirit that as an interactive designer we spread our understanding of politics and life through images, which are not without some criticism, but we should focus more on the emotional impact of the information it conveys on human beings, because images do not only convey information, but they also drive human emotions.
Secondly, we need more and richer technology. Tracy, through the team’s technology, learns the basic coding, the basic framework, which completes the transformation from paper media to the new era of online digital media, so that the message can be delivered more widely. At the same time, the new technology produces new visual effects, which makes the boring information become rich and interesting. Imagine that the information delivered by boring words alone may make people tired and even make some information become easy to forget, while interesting visual effects will deepen people’s impression of this information, which is also the meaning of the existence of designers. I think this in will have an impact on my design projects.
