The topic of my research is about the problem of ocean pollution caused by plastic waste.
In recent years, with rapid urbanization and population growth, the demand for plastic has increased. And the ocean is like a sink collecting plastic waste from all over the world. The ocean is in under breathing .As a result, our water resources, animals and human health have been greatly affected. So I hope that through the design of the film, people will become aware of the threat of plastic pollution to the oceans and thus reduce the use of plastic by humans and encourage people to recycle or reuse it.
In the process of my research I believe that solving this problem is a long way to go.The first is that people don’t know if they are throwing their plastic waste in the right place when they dispose of it. The second is that Reverse Vending Recycling Machines are not being promoted enough and there are not enough machines.The third point is that it is almost impossible to get people to stop using plastic completely.
I think the trouble I had during the production was the editing. As this is the first time I have done video editing, I still have a lot of problems with the software and there are a lot of tricks I don’t really know how to use yet. So that was a big hindrance for me. Secondly, I had a lot of trouble choosing the footage, and I had a lot of trouble trying to find the footage for the scenes I had imagined.
Finally, there is the challenge of shooting on my own. Building my own set for the shoot was a big job. I need to consider it from both light and angle.
